A/N- Okay, so the basic premise for this is that after a long time of being apart, Sirius is back at Marlene's door, and from then on the poem continues.

The Door.

Ican't stop thinking about you and I
I said I've been there too a few times

He found himself standing there and staring at her door,
But somehow this didn't feel like all those times before.
He gathered up his courage and raised his hand to knock,
Then he stood there and waited for the doors to unlock.

She opened the door, and every fibre of his being cheered,
But slowly he watched as her beautiful smile disappeared,
Her guard was rising up high and she whispered "Why?"
He softly said, "I can't stop thinking about you and I,"

He stood there ready and willing to pay for all his crimes
When she softly whispered, "I've been there too a few times,"
She stared at him, and there her eyes slowly fluttered close,
And he found himself staring at the silly wrinkles on her nose.

He smiled as memories of them came rushing to his minds,
He wondered how he could have left her and them behind.
She looked so breathtaking tonight, he couldn't even blink,
"You're beautiful,", words came tumbling out, before he could think.

Her ivory cheeks turned to a deep shade of crimson, making him smile
He missed it, this sight, he hadn't seen for a very long while.
"I'm sorry," he said, meaning it, and begged her to believe,
She sighed and softly said, "I should just ask you to leave,"

"Then ask," He whispered, "Just say the word and I'll go."
"But I'll come back every night from now, and that you must know,"
"I'm not as smart as you are," he said, "It took me a while,"
"But I realised that all I want in life is to wake up to your smile."

"You haven't changed a bit, have you?" he heard her softly ask.
He shrugged and smiled as he knew he was chipping away her mask.
"You're the reason they name storms after people, Black,"
Her words echoed, "And I'm sorry, but I can't take you back."

"You make me lose my mind," she said, "You make me insane."
"I'm looking for a drizzle, Black, but you're the hurricane."
"You come, take me to eye of the storm," she said, her voice breaking.
"And then you leave," She said, "And my world is left shaking,"

Her words hit him like a curse, and slowly his whole world froze.
He'd lost here, he knew, lost her smile, and the wrinkles on her nose.
He wondered if she could see him breaking, see him falling apart.
He wondered if anyone could hear the sound of his slowly breaking heart.

Like the light of sun at dusk, everything slowly faded away,
His world had crashed and burned and all that was left was pain.
"I never meant to hurt you," he said, surprised his voice didn't break,
"I know you didn't," she whispered with a smile he knew was fake.

He could've stood there, looking at her, until out came the sun,
But then the clock welcomed Halloween, Nineteen Eighty One.
"I should go," he said, realizing it had started to wildly pour,
She nodded and he saw her for the last time, as she closed her door.
