I haven't done a solo poem in a long time so this one was requested by Shrinking Violet SF. Please read and review.

Cindy's subconscious

"Mischief"

Why are we doing this, look at what we show our little kids

What else should we do, should we bid

Or just kid and say it's his, is it a swing and a miss

And just piss, away our history

Leave this as an unsolved mystery, leave it for the next one

Let them go through the misery, hopefully there will be no injuries

Maybe it'll end in a victory, although it's eerie

It might be risky, but that's how love is

It's not like in show biz, not everything is perfect

But fuck it, it can't change

So for now it will remain, so what if it's plain

What if it's too wild to tame, so you turn around

Point a finger and blame, like it's some stupid game

But this game has no name, man this game is lame

So don't play, but you can't quit

So just keep getting hit, stay down

Take the pain, tangled all up in these chains

It's bringin you down, it's makin you frown

Go walk around town, no one's there

Now your pullin out your hair, your clothes you now tear

You just look up and glare, cuz you weren't a good pair

But it's not the end, he never said no

You know he's not that cold, you just gotta be bold

Just to him straight up, say was sup

Ask him now, before he turns you down

So that's how we got here, I don't know what to do

Should I cheer, are we gonna fight

Should I get my gear, but it's been a great year

We were so near, come on my dear

Fuck it, lets go grab a beer
