Danny was on his way to the locker room when he walked by Stella's office. He backtracked at the site of Lindsay and Stella reading How to Walk in High Heels by Camilla Morton. Lindsay was sitting upside down on Stella's couch and Stella was sitting comfortably in her office chair with her feet on her desk. The lab had a slow day and both women were pretty much done with paperwork and were just waiting on DNA, Autopsy and Trace results.

"Slow day huh?" Danny walked in the silent room.

"Geesus Danny! Scared the hell outta me!" Lindsay flipped over her couch position and was now sitting on the floor, hair ruffled. Stella had fallen off her chair as well and was trying to get up.

"Is that what they teach you in these books? How to react 'lady-like' to situations like these?" Danny picked up Lindsay's book while helping Lindsay up.

"Hey Danny. I'm a woman too! Help me get up." Stella yelled from under her desk.

"Really? I hadn't noticed."

Stella huffed and chunk of her hair flew upwards. "Funny." Danny chuckled and walked over to help the tall, curly-haired woman.

Danny sat down on Stella's couch followed by Lindsay who sat beside him and had her head leaning on Danny's shoulder with Danny playing with her hair.

"Seriously! Explain to me why you need this book. You two seem like perfectly fine women!"

Stella was amused at how naïve her male friend could be. She decided to teach him a thing or two about being a woman. She got up from her office chair and stood in front of Danny and started pacing.

"Danny, I'm gonna teach you something about being a woman. It ain't all peaches and cream ya know. We ain't like men who can do whatever they want- whenever they want, wherever they want. We got rules, standards and principles." Danny looked at Lindsay as if Stella was crazy but all Lindsay did was nod her head in agreement with Stella.

Stella kept on going although Danny had blocked out pretty much everything and Lindsay had fallen lightly asleep. Danny realized that this could go on forever and decided to speak up.

"Hey Stell, me saying for you to explain was just a rhetorical question and somewhat of a joke. All I'm sayin' is that you and Linds are very civilized, gorgeous, amazing women and that you don't need a 'guide' to tell you all this." Danny rose from the couch, waking Lindsay up. He apologized and kissed her on the lips. Then he walked over to Stella and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "And for your information, a guide can't teach you everything." Danny winked at Lindsay who giggled, which turned into a fit of laughter and left Stella completely confused.

"That is very true Detective Messer. This ain't the guide to everything." Lindsay picked up her copy of the book and walked towards Danny- Stella still confused. "Hey Stell, let's just say it doesn't teach you the end results of pool."

Danny and Lindsay went into a fit of giggles. Lindsay linked arms with Danny and left a completely, utterly confused Stella standing in the middle of her office.
