Deidara woke up against a tree in a place whiter then white. He touched his face where his scope would be. He gasped and felt nothing but a nothing eye. No way. I can't believe until I see it. He thought. Like some sort magic, a pond appeared next to the tree. The blond crawled over and moved his bangs. He touched his face again, gasping when he saw not one but two blue eyes staring back at him. He then stared at his hands, the mouths had vanished. He sat back and looked down. Deidara was in nothing but white and had no shoes on. There was a heavenly glow about him. Heavenly... That word echoed in his mind.
"You've kept me waiting, Deidara." a familiar voice rang out. Deidara stood up and began looking around. A red dot appeared in the distance. The blond's mouth just dropped open. He couldn't believe it. He was dreaming. He couldn't be here. Unless... he thought once more. The red dot became a red headed man in similar clothing as his own. Deidara ran to the man and embraced him. The blond began crying into the other man's chest.
"Danna... un..."
Sasori didn't push him away like normal shinobi would and he didn't comfort him like a common person would. He just stood there, smiling.
"You know I don't like to wait."
"Danna. It's really you. But how?" He stepped back.
"How do you think?"
It all came back to him. The last minutes of his life. He remembered apologizing to Tobi in the last few seconds. He remembered unsealing the mouth in his chest and then exploding in the presence of Sasuke Uchiha. The blond hung his head and then began laughing.
"I'm dead! And it was beautiful! A work of art, un! I made myself my best work of art! And I stuck fear into the Sharingan eyes! Un! They held fear! Of my art! Art defeated the Sharingan!" He lifted his head laughing.(part taken from http://mybabegaarawubsmee. Sasori just smirked as his younger comrade finished laughing. Deidara smiled up at Sasori and then frowned. He looked around.
"But this can't be heaven. We were S-class criminals! We don't belong in heaven."
"There is no such thing. Only after life. Only a white void unto which you want to fill. Deidara you could fill this void of yours with thousands art pieces made by you. Pounds of clay by the millions. You decide. Mine? I'm with my parents in a craft shop where I can make my puppets. Personally, I missed your nonsense. So I came to visit you. You can visit me any time you want, Deidara. All you have to do is think of where you want to go and start walking."
The blond hugged the red head once more and stood up to his full height. He think closed his eyes and began thinking. Blue skies. Green grass. A river and a house by it. A house with beautiful red curtains flowing out of the windows and had a cherry smelling smoke coming out of the window. A clay spin wheel appeared in front of the house and Deidara opened his eyes.
"Perfect." He ran into the house and saw many pictures and a small kitchen and a lovely bed room. He smiled and sat in a chair in the kitchen. Sasori walked in and sat next to him. He smiled as he looked around seeing the many pictures that were of him and the blond. Deidara opened the oven and carefully pulled out a cherry pie. He smiled and turned to his danna.
"If you're here...then it is heaven."
