The First Kiss
There's always this awkward moment, just before. Because it just can't be easy. There's the staring and the waiting, and the hesitation just before because you're not quite sure of the reception. And you're always afraid of rejection. Sometimes it's just a little nagging worry and sometimes you're so terrified of that possibility you can feel your knees go weak and your palms get sticky with sweat.
And then you lean in a bit more and he leans in that last little bit and it happens. Lips press together and warm breath mingles between your noses and it's just perfect.
A Second Attempt
The first time it was an accident. Some idiot had knocked into his back at the wrong moment and jolted him forward so their lips had connected. It hadn't been a kiss because neither of them had wanted it. They'd both been disgusted.
This time it's different. This time he means it. There's no doubt about it because he's pressing Sasuke against the wall, holding him there with his weight and claiming his mouth, no quarter given. And Sasuke isn't fighting the demanding kiss. He's sucking on his tongue and biting his lips, so Naruto knows he means it too.
Third Time's The Charm
"Yu~ki! Come on, please!" Shuichi looks at his lover with big blue eyes as he makes kissy-faces at him from the doorway.
"No. Leave me alone." Yuki enunciates every word precisely as he keeps typing.
"Yu~ki! Don't be so mean!" Shuichi's voice is softer, closer but he's still whining in that grating way.
"No." Yuki remains unmoved even as Shuichi's arms wind around him from behind and he feels a soft kiss at his temple.
"Yuki." This time Shuichi's voice is sensual, seductive.
And as his young lover places a soft, lingering kiss just behind his ear, Yuki gives in.
Four Leaf Clover
Soubi was so unbearable sometimes with his unwanted over the top advances. Always saying: "Ritsuka-kun, I need you.", "I'd do anything for you.", "Order me, Ritsuka-kun."
It was so infuriating. He didn't want to order Soubi around. He didn't want to be a sacrifice nor Soubi to be his fighter. He wanted to find the old Ritsuka. The one before Seimei had died.
He wanted to be happy.
"Ritsuka-kun." Soubi was smiling at him and holding out a four leaf clover. "For you."
Then Soubi's lips brushed over his and held. Ritsuka forgot everything for a moment of pure joy.
The Fifth Element
The movie was asinine. The only reason he endured it was because it let him sit close to Setsuna.
"I don't get it. So, it's Fire, Water, Earth, Air…and chick?"
"Idiot!" Setsuna laughed so hard he collapsed against him with his head on his shoulder. Suddenly, Setsuna calmed down and looked up at him seriously. "It's love."
Kira swallowed hard and tried not to notice that their lips were merely an inch apart. He wanted to kiss Setsuna so bad he could almost taste the sweet soda he smelled on his breath.
"Right, love." Kira exhaled shakily and looked away.
