Author's Note: This is just a little poem that popped into my head at work one day and demanded to be written down. It's from Michiru's point of view, not exactly sure where in canon. I use the Japanese word "Kaiosei" for the planet of Neptune to separate that she's talking about the planet and not herself as a senshi.

Disclaimer: As usual, I own nothing.

Some nights I dream of Kaiosei
The water-covered world
Where lapping waves and shifting sands
Soothe my troubled soul
Where the line between sea and shore
Is ever changing

I try to lose myself in the dreams
Let the feel of shifting waters carry me away
But sudden winds disturb the waves
I open my eyes to see you
A tall figure standing on the shore

In my dreams you approach me
Crossing into my waters with little care
Shattering Kaiosei's tenuous boundaries
You pull me close
And I am lost in the sound of rushing winds
In dreams you press your lips to mine
Our hearts joining as one

In daylight you pull away from me
Use 'Duty'
And "Our Mission"
To wall away your heart
As you try to run from me

The wind may outrun the waves
But the sea is patient
When the wind comes to a rest
When you finally stop running
I will be there

Until then, I dream
Of Kaiosei
And you.
