Coda to 5.21 of Supernatural. If you haven't at least read the beginning of Good Omens (which is awesome), this won't make much sense. It's also fairly crackish. Enjoy and review!

After the first hour and a half Dean finally says, "Dude, you cannot drive with me to Chicago if you insist on listening to Queen for fifteen hours."

"I'm King of the Crossroads, I get to pick the music," Crowley replies nonplussed.

"Driver picks the music, hand me that box of cassettes."

"What's wrong with the radio? Just change the station."

"Hand me the box."

"Okay. If you insist." Crowley hands over a shoebox that has certainly seen better days.

Rifling through the top layer, Dean picks up what he knows to be a well-worn Metallica tape and puts it in the tape deck. And out of the speakers come the calming (to Dean anyway) vocals of—Freddy Mercury?

"What the—" he whips toward Crowley, annoyed.

"Okay, so, I kind of have this thing…" he trails off.

Dean's expression shifts from annoyed and panicked to "Bitch, I will end you!" in less than half a second.

"I swear I'll fix it when this is over," Crowley says, placating.

"Why can't you fix it now?"

"Well, you see, I can't actually control it. But everything should go back to normal after we finish this road trip and I don't have to drive with you anymore."

The car swerves sharply and stops haltingly on the shoulder of the road.

"Get out."

"Seriously, Dean? We are on our way to stop DEATH, himself, and you are pulling over to kick me out of the car due to musical differences."

"Get. Out."

"Okay, fine," and with that the demon is gone and the music from the speakers slowly fades into its proper song.

Dean hums the rest of the way to Chicago.

It calms him down, okay!
