A/N: I know this fic doesn't actually say Sam, but his wife is Sam. If it wasn't I wouldn't have written it :P

Also, I was in a really fluffy, lovey, Sam and Jack mood when I wrote this :D I couldn't help myself :P

Inspired by Sam's reaction in Continuum when Jack died.

He knew he was the luckiest man in the world.

Every time he looked into their beautiful faces, he knew.

Every time he heard them laugh, he knew.

Every time they jump on him while he's working, he knew.

Every time there was a storm and they want to sleep in his bed, he knew.

Every time he held them while they cried, he knew.

Every time they had a water fight, he knew.

Every time he saw her smile, he knew.

Every time she looked into his eyes, he knew.

Every time he held, he knew.

Every time he would breathe in her scent, he knew.

And now as he stood in his garden, watching his wife running around the garden, being chased by their two children, he knew.

And when his wife looks up and sees him watching her, and she smiles her bright smile while she brushes her long blond hair out of her eyes, he knew.

And as he watches he fall to the ground, while their son and daughter jump up on her and tickle her, he knew.

And when he hears the laughter of his family, he knew.

And when all of a sudden, when his body tumbles to the grass, and the twins teamed with his wife jump on him, he knew.

As he looks into the three pairs of blue eyes watching him, he knew.

Yes, Jack O'Neill definitely knew that he was by far the luckiest man to have ever lived.

He knew.
