Chapter 3
(Ellimist)
I stepped out of the energy chamber, and I was imediately overcome by a wave of exhaustion. In order to complete the job I had to do, I need to have as much energy as I possibly could prepared.
I stumbled over to the wall and reached for one of the crystals that conducted the ship's power. It slid out of the wall, forming a cane. I had never felt like this before. I was experiancing Aging from my lack of energy. I knew I had to complete this mission fast. I walked to the main consol in the middle of my crystal ship's bridge and wraped my hand around a diamond protrusion and thought the command into it.
Bring me the Animorphs. Then,as I concentrated, 5 glowing circles of light apeared on the floor. It was blinding, even for me. I closed my eyes and thought harder. I could feel the energy from the circles. They pulsated and hummed with power. I concentrated even farder and heard a loud "woosh" noise. I strained to see what was happening. The small circles of light had erupted into bright green columns. Then, as the energy was almost to much to bare, it subsided, leaving leaving five figures standing in their place.
"W-were a-are we?" the one called Jake asked.
Chapter 4
(Jake)
We were all standing in an emense ship. Bigger than anything we probably ever seen. And if that wasn't strange enough, I realized who "we" were. The Animorphs. All five of us. Me, my wife Cassie, Marco, who was an engineer living somewhere around Nessus Prime, Tobias and Rachel, his wife, who were retire pilots living who knows were. And even though we were so spread apart, there we were, all togather.
"Welcome," said an old man standing infront of us. Rachel reached to her side grabed a small blaster.
"Who are you, and why are we here?!" she yelled, pointing the gun at him.
"If you shoot me," the man said,"I will die."
"Yeah, that's kind of the point," Rachel said back, still holding the gun at him, a little less threateningly.
"Rachel, put the gun down," I said without moving my eyes from the man."Who are you?" I asked.
"Yes, I suspected you wouldn't recognize me in this form.Of course, I didn't have much of a choice." The man said, sounding very depressed." I now need all this machinery just to remain in this dimention, much less move faster than light and time.I am not what I once was."
It took me a few seconds to piece this togather, were as it took Cassie seconds.
"Ellimist?" she said, dumbfounded.
"What? It can't be," Tobias said,"can it?" The old man feebily nodded his head.
"But what happened to the light show, the booming voice and the whole 'shooting-through-time-and-space' thing?" Marco said,"this guy looks like my cat could take him!"
Ellimist leaned on his cane, which looked like it was mad from some rare crystal.
"As I said,I am not as I once was.You see, because of the damage Crayak has caused tho the space time continum, I," Ellimist coughed hard," I am.....dying."
