I wrote a few Young Justice poetry stories. I felt like doing a quick one for RWBY. R&R. If you see any mistakes- tell me, people. I'm only awesome, not perfect!
I enrolled in a junior hunter academy
My heart filled with glee.
I met a human.
Racial slurs began booming.
Racists are not born racist.
They are taught to hate.
I never thought I could teach one to love.
I never thought that one racist would end up being my mate.
"Hey, sun. Whatja doing?"
"Oh hi, Nep. Just writing a quick, stupid poem. I'm not a writer, I'm a fighter."
"That rhymed."
"Blake has been teaching me. Poetry doesn't have to rhyme."
Neptune attempts to grab the paper. "Give me that." He teases. Sun snatches the paper away.
"No way. It's dumb. Just wanted to get my thoughts on paper. It's not even done."
Neptune rolled his eyes. "Just let me give you advice. I'm a bit of a writer you know."
Sun kisses Neptune, forcibly. Sun smiles, slipping the paper into his pocket. "Nope."
"Well," Neptune takes a step back, "write a poem just for me."
Sun mulled over the thought. He takes a seat at the desk and grabs his pen. Neptune has a piece of paper waiting for him. Sun takes the piece of paper and gently places it in front of himself.
Sun reads aloud as he writes.
"I always knew there was someone out there
And here you are!
You love my smile
And make my life worthwhile.
I used to be lonely
But then I met you!"
"That's all I got Nep."
Neptune kisses Sun passionately. "I love it. Not because it's good. Because it wasn't. But I love it because it came from you."
Side note. I'll be talking about this for a while. My dad and I wrote a book. Author: Kevin Rifflard Sr; Writer: Jessy Lynn! Titled: The Year I Rode my Snowmobile to the North Pole! Please purchase it when it becomes available.
