I do not own Animal Crossing. Why would anyone think I did?
"Can you do all of that tonight?" the mayor asked worried that Isabelle wouldn't get a lick of sleep tonight. "Its alright Mayor,I can just get a cup of coffee, you can go on to the Island." "Are you sure?" "yes Mayor, I'll be ok." Isabelle looked up from her work to wave goodbye. "I'm going to be here all night" she told herself in a sigh.
Copper was tired, he found a total of seven lost items today and no one came to claim any of them. He desperately wanted to go home and sleep, he hated coffee so he always went to bed early to avoid drinking it. But today was full of waiting for villagers that never came. He secretly wished that one of the lost items was Isabelle's but with her organized nature she never lost a thing. He took his police coat out of his locker, and went out to do his last round before going home. City Hall chimed with the eleventh hour and Copper turned on his flashlight and started to go around the town. There was never any crime here, but you can never be too careful.
He pasted the Mayor's house to see him entering his home with what looked like bags of bells. 'must have been a successful day at the island.' He neared City Hall and noticed that the lights were still on. 'Could Isabelle still be working? I should check. But only to check that it isn't a thief, yes right I am only doing my job.' he tried to convince himself. "Hello?" he said opening the door. He heard light snores and ventured farther into City Hall. He saw a mountain of paper work on the desk. The light snores were coming from behind the paper work. "Isabelle?" he whispered and walked around it to see a little cave in the mountain. Isabelle had her head rested on a small pillow sized pile of paperwork.
Copper chuckled she was drooling a tad bit on to it. "I should bring her a coffee." He whispered to himself. He tip toed out and walked to the Roost. "Citizen." he greeted. The citizen working gave him an odd look. "I would like a coffee." "and how would you like it?" the Citizen not being acquainted with his coffee preference. "Mocha beans, lots of milk and three spoonfuls of sugar." "ok" the Citizen had it ready in seconds. "thank you."
The chimes of the twelfth hour woke Isabelle up quickly, and she almost knocked over a cup of coffee on the only spot with no paper work. "oh, how sweet, It must have been the mayor." remembering her earlier conversation. She picked it up and took a sip. Just the way she liked it, an aura of sunshine and flowers surrounded her. "Now I have the energy to finish this." she exclaimed with her hands on her hips in a prideful pose. and hurried to finish it all. In all of this hurrying she failed to notice a note on the bottom of the cup that read -
Don't work yourself to death now.- Copper
