There are many types of relationships, but the most complex and compelling I've come across is that between the sisters Brigitte and Ginger Fitzgerald. Although they have the closeness that hasn't been portrayed in a movie before, they have a very unhealthy relationship.

The sisters, however alone, are content with isolation. Ginger has a very hard time making friends, so she makes sure Brigitte never gets any. People find the two too strange with their ideals and tend to leave them alone for the most part (excluding Trina Sinclair). Brigitte, Ginger's number one fan, knows they're alone and doesn't care... until she meets Sam.

When Ginger finds out about the drug dealer, she's furious. She starts trying to control Brigitte, telling her that Sam wants nothing but in her pants, (she later meets Sam and uses him for free marijuana).

Along with the controlling, Ginger is jealous of Sam. She is so envious of him, she tries to seduce him. When he denies her because of his friendship with Brigitte, she breaks his arm, So, in hurting Sam physically, she ended up hurting beloved sister emotionally.

Under Ginger's control, Brigitte is used. Ginger uses Brigitte to get her out of situations that involve deaths of people and cleaning them up without being caught. Even though Ginger doesn't ask for it, Brigitte gets Sam, to help her make a cure to her lycanthropy. Ginger had this huge plan of keeping Brigitte to herself, making a pact so that she doesn't die alone, they're bound in blood. She uses her to keep her entertained. Brigitte does as much as she can to appease her sister.

Going more into that pact, Ginger is a horrible influence on Brigitte. Ginger does drugs, dragging her into that. She also makes Brigitte want to commit suicide with her. However, I know Brigitte wants to live because at the end of the film she cries, "I'm not dying in this room with you!" In the end, Brigitte gives her humanity to Ginger, mixing their blood so she could convince her to come home.

Brigitte gets pretty much nothing but becoming a lycanthrope from Ginger. There's no respect between the two, but Ginger knows she can trust Brigitte. They have a very unhealthy and strange relationship.
