I don't know how I did it. I just got in with the wrong crowd I guess. It was the biggest mistake I had ever made in my life. I buried my face into my knees. Everything had just spiraled out of control.

My first Chapter of Surviving Highschool It was a sunny day in Forks Washington. I peeked my head out from beneath the covers searching for my alarm clock. Maybe I could turn it off before my family noticed and I could go back to bed. My door creaked open and my mother saw my hand reaching out to turn it off. I hated how my skin would slightly sparkle in the light, it was annoying. I didn't feel like a vampire, I felt like a fairy. Embarrased, I hid my hand back under the covers.

"Darling, the bus will be here any moment." she said.
"I don't want to go to school." I pouted. My mother sat on my bed and gently pulled the covers from my face. "Everything's going to be okay," she said. "Don't worry. Now go get ready." I yawned and slowly made my way out of bed to the bathroom. My big brown stared back at me and I smiled. My parents always cooed about how beautiful I was. I pulled my curly golden hair back into a ponytail and pulled on a pair of jeans and a T. Shirt.

I raced down the stairs and grabbed an apple off the table and kissed my father on the cheek before racing out the door to the bus.
I lived in a big house surrounded by woods. I licked my lips hungrily. I ate human food, but I would have crazy cravings for blood and I would need to get some in my system before I went crazy. I've grown up on animal blood, but I don't like the taste too much.
Humans smell so good, I just want one bite.

"Hey Nessie." a voice said. I whirled around and saw Jacob Black. I bit down on my lip. I had been told he had imprinted on me and they were expecting me to marry him. "Hey." I replied. I didn't like Jacob that way, he was just a friend. I wasn't going to be forced into anything, I refused to marry him. I think its really creepy he dated my mom and now he wants to marry me. An uncomfortable shiver ran down my spine.

"Are you cold?" Jacob asked. "I can run to my house real quick and grab you a jacket." "No i'm alright, I just had a body twitch." I said. He walked me to the bus then gave me a hug goodbye before letting me board.

"You're the first pickup," the bus driver said. He smelt strongly of cigarettes. My nose twitched in disaproval. "Please take a seat." I plopped down in the back of the bus and blasted my ipod secretly hoping someone would come sit next to me.
