Alone he sat in a room coming down

The memories of his childhood blinking away

Ones of his aunt, squad, and of her

And of the promise he couldn't keep

He saw her go down, right before his eyes

A row of spikes lining her back

While he was powerless to stop her

She came for him, though ended for herself

And her killer just laughed at him

Tears welled up in his eyes

As more of the room came down

And his eyes hurt to be open

And his mouth was dry

Hopefully those two got out

He thought while he slowly disappeared

Though he couldn't say it

The hardest thing to ever say

Though he said at the end

Goodbye Miranda
