CHOCOLATE PANDA-CHAN
-I don't own Naruto.
-My second NejiTen story. Thank you for supporting NejiTen and my stories! This story is in Neji's point of view.
- She was my favorite sight to see, Chocolate Panda-Chan. She's the reason I have a smile on my lips despite my solitude.
I traced the marks that were craved at the bench were I sat.
The park was my favorite place to go. And this bench was my favorite thing in this park.
I hang out in the park not just because it's only a few meters away from my house, but because I like to observe.
Yes. Observe.
I would observe the kids in the park. They are also in my age.
I would usually see a blue-eyed blonde boy and a raven haired boy making a sand castle together in a sandbox.
I could see a pink haired girl and another girl with dirty blonde hair chatting happily.
I could see a fuzzy brown haired boy playing with his dog alongside a girl with dark blue hair and eyes the same as mine.
She is my cousin. The only difference between my eyes and hers is that my eyes were milky white and hers are a shade of lilac.
I sighed.
Everyone had their own companions. My sole companion in this whole park is this bench where I always sat.
No one even dared to try and sit beside me.
I was alone. It was meant to be.
Every time I observe, something would always catch my eye.
A brunette girl playing with a miniature kunai.
Chocolate Panda-chan.
That's not really her name though. I call her that because her chocolate brown hair is always tied in buns, making her look like a little panda.
She was my favorite sight to see, Chocolate Panda-Chan. She's the reason I have a smile on my lips despite my solitude.
I don't know why I smile when I see her.
She has this heartwarming aura that makes my lip curve into a smile.
This was my daily routine. I love my daily routine. And I hate it when it gets shattered.
Go to the park, see chocolate panda-chan, and then leave with a smile on my face.
But one day, my daily routine was shattered.
My routine started out well. I was sitting on the bench, staring at chocolate panda-chan.
It was going fine when something made my eyes widened.
Chocolate panda-chan was staring at me with a toothy grin on her lips.
My heart was beating fast as she walked closer to me.
"Hey there, milky boy!" She sat beside me.
What did she just called me?
"Huh?"
That was all I could say. No one has ever seated beside me.
She smiled.
"I'm sorry. I don't know your name. That's why I called you milky boy"
I opened my mouth to say something when she began to continue.
"I called you milky boy because everything about you is milky. Well, not actually everything. Just your eyes and your skin"
Milky boy. I kinda like it.
"Chocolate panda-chan" I muttered without thinking
"Huh?"
I came back to my senses.
"I…didn't mean to…"
She pressed a delicate finger on my lips gently.
"Chocolate panda-chan…I like it"
I smiled as she removed her finger off my lips.
"I'm Neji"
Milky boy sounded nice but I think it's about time she knows my name.
"I'm Tenten"
"Nice name"
She grinned. "Chocolate panda-chan sounded nice too"
"So does milky boy"
She giggled.
She became my best friend.
My daily routine was shattered.
Chocolate panda-chan was the reason I love my routine and the reason it was shattered.
I hate it when that happens…but this time…
I didn't mind and I couldn't care less.
