"So,Jamie, what do ya think?"A man in the front seat of the red bug turned, glancing back at his 17 year old daughter.Jamie rose a brow. She had stunning green eyes that shone brightly through the dark eyeshadow and lipstick plastered onto her pale face.In fact, her eyes were mostly the only color she ever had.Jamie always wore black make-up and clothes, along with the black hair dye she slopped into her naturally red hair about once a month.Jamie shrugged, not having spoken a word since her mother had died a measily 4 weeks ago,she wasn't about to start talking just because they'd decided to start a new life in another town. She glared out the window at a large white house. It looked near perfection with it's blue shudders and red door.Jamie slammed open the door to the car and carried her suitcases into the house, taking them to the highest room possible and flopping herself onto the floor.

She glanced over at the wall and imidiately sat up.It had four deep marks, side by side, going across the bottom near the middle.Jamie scooted over and looked them over, smiling at how sharp the oblect that made them must've been. She reached behind her and pulled a straight blade out of one of her cases. She slid it into one of the slits, the depth matched perfectly with her four inch long blade.A knock on the door caused Jamie to shove the blade into the sleeve of her sweater. Her father came in and looked to Jamie, then the wall.

"We just get this place and you're already cutting up the walls?"He snarled. He rubbed his temples a bit, then looked to Jamie again."Listen,Jay...I've already signed you up for the school here and the counciler so you'd better get talking and fast."With that he stormed out of the room and down the stairs, cursing to the air about his psychotic daughter.Jamie growled and slammed the door shut after him, pulling the bade from her sleeve and setting it back in her suitcase.Another knock on her door made her roll her eyes and pull it open again.

"Where would you like your bed,ma'am?"A pair of movers asked in a rather chipper tone.Sam pointed to the corner of the room and the movers slapped together her bed with ease. She rolled her eyes again as they left with smiles at her and climbed out her window onto the roof until the movers had everything set up and had their truck pulling out of the driveway. She quickly dove back into the window and unpacked her clothes, books, and a small stuffed mouse with a missing eye.She flopped backwards onto the bed and fell asleep within merely minutes.
