Hey guys! I just thought this one up after reading the Prince and I figurd I would give it a go. I might make it just one-shot, but I might make a few chapters... Let me know what you think!

After seeing America, the other interviews went by without much more excitement. When I finally finished with all the girls, I figured it was time for the part of the morning I was dreading the most. I stood and walked to the center of the room, my hands sweating the littlest bit.

"If I have asked you to remain behind, please stay in your seats. If not, please proceed with Silvia here into the dining hall. I will join you shortly."

I watched the girls shuffle out of the room, some with confused looks coloring their faces. When the doors shut behind them, I addressed the eight girls in front of me.

"Ladies, if you would join me over on the couches," I proceeded to sit on a couch with the others sitting on the two couches opposite me.

I took a deep breath. "Ladies, I would like you each to know that you are all wonderful." I paused to find the right words for what I was about to do. "Unfortunately, of the women here, you will be the first to leave. I am very sorry, and I wish you all well wherever you go from here."

The faces around me looked hurt and many started crying immediately following my words. There was nothing I hated more than making other people upset. Maids rushed into the room to try to console the ladies and help them back to their rooms to pack.

I left the room and walked towards the dining room to join my family and the other women for breakfast, but I was not in a very good mood.

Just after entering, I remembered the rule about rising for the entrance of royalty. "Please don't rise, ladies. Enjoy your breakfasts." I walked down the center of the room to where my parents were sitting. I kissed my mother on the cheek and gave my father a not-so-gentle pat on the back as if to say, "Are you proud of me yet? I just broke the hearts of eight women before breakfast!"

I sat down and remarked to my butler, Tom, that almost one fourth of my problem was already on their way home. He laughed with me, though I was only laughing on the outside. I picked up my fork to start breakfast, hoping to avoid the glances of the remaining ladies, especially one.
