When I was five, I wrote this story:
Wansapona tim thr wasa Pokemon thranr namd El. She hada wortordol owne day thy betall thranrs buat a pokemon pokemon thranr Memomowtoo thin she wint buat she losd andridtims she wint too the pokemon sintr tlin she woan. Mowtoo gav El a nagit it rotid the next day.
The End.
But since you probably can't read any of that, here's the translation:
Once upon a time, there was a pokemon trainer named Elisabeth. She had a wartortle. One day they battled trainers but then there was a pokemon pokemon trainer, Mewtwo. She went to battle him, but she lost a hundred times so she went to the Pokemon center. Then she won. Mewtoo gave her a chicken nugget. It rotted the next day.
I love how first his name is Memomowtoo and later it's just Mowtoo! Oh, and when I was five, I didn't understand that the "nuggets" in the games were gold nuggets, not chicken nuggets. So Mewtwo gave me a chicken nugget as a prize. _
Anyway, I also turned it into a real story, so here it is!
:::
Once there was a young Pokemon trainer named Elisabeth. She was a great trainer, and she and her wartortle were renowned for their great battle skills and many gym badges. One day, they were battling other Pokemon trainers in Cerulean city. They easily won each battle, with barely a scratch on wartortle.
As they searched for more trainers to fight, Elisabeth spotted a cave in the distance, across a canal of water. She and wartortle swam across and entered the mysterious, maze-like cavern.
Finally, she came to a platform of rock where a strange creature stood, a Pokemon Elisabeth had never seen before. It introduced itself as Mewtwo, and said that it was a Pokemon trainer, though it was a Pokemon itself. It challenged Elisabeth to a battle, and she quickly accepted, sure she would win.
But she didn't. She was quickly defeated, and scurried to the Pokemon Center with wartortle in her arms. When he had been healed, they returned to the cave to try again. But again they lost.
Elisabeth and her wartortle were determined, though. They refused to accept defeat, and they returned over and over, day after day. Each time they lost. The people of Cerulean talked about her and said she should stop trying, but she dismissed the idea of giving up.
Eventually, she had been defeated one hundred times. She was getting tired and discouraged, and felt like giving up, but her wartortle still wanted to battle one more time, so they returned to the cave again.
All this time they had been battling Mewtwo, wartortle had been getting stronger and stronger each time. Finally, after a long, rough battle, Mewtwo was defeated. Elisabeth and the wartortle shouted with joy. Their teamwork and training had finally paid off and they were the greatest team in the land.
Mewtwo quietly accepted his defeat and rewarded Elisabeth with the rarest of all gold nuggets, worth a great deal of money. So Elisabeth and wortortle lived happily ever after, famous for their great determination and strength.
The End.
