You think you're alone Raven, but you're not.

Raven put the book safely in one of her chests; she knew it would be safest with her even if she never wanted to see it again. She slammed the lid shut and locked it before letting her head fall with a sigh. She felt so foolish, so stupid, so used, maybe if she wasn't so blinded by him she could have actually seen what he was, and what he was trying to get her to do. This is what she got for letting someone in, for letting someone see her vulnerable side.

It was then did she hear a small knock at her door. She had already debriefed the others on what happened, telling them every embarrassing detail, how she fell for a wizard in an enchanted book and tried to free him from its pages, just to find out he was an evil dragon in disguise. The whole thing was just so humiliating and made her feel all the more alone.

"Raven, it's me." She heard Beast Boy say softly from the other side of the door. "Look I'm sorry." He told her sincerely as she slowly approached the closed door.

"For what? You're not the one who…" She trailed off looking downward.

"No, I'm sorry that… he broke your heart." This was strange to her, hearing him, of all people try to comfort her.

"I know it was all a lie, but he was the only person that ever made me feel like I wasn't… creepy, and don't try to tell me I'm not." She sighed, looking at the door before looking down once more.

"Okay, fine, you're way creepy, but that doesn't mean you have to stay locked in your room; you think you're alone Raven, but you're not." Raven listened very attentively to every word her friend had to say. Now some heartfelt words weren't going to change the pain she felt at the moment, but that didn't mean his weren't helping, in fact they were helping a lot. "We're here for you Raven, I'm here for you."

It was then did she open her door and saw the man behind the words, and something overcame her as she found herself uncontrollably bolting forward and wrapping her arms around his shoulders in an embrace. To be taken aback would be an understatement, Beast Boy was flabbergasted, Raven was always the hugged, not the hugger, but here she was hugging him, and it felt really nice. He couldn't help but blush a little as a smile lifted his cheeks and he let his arms wrap around her, returning the embrace.
