A/N: OK just to stat the obvious, James and Lily are alive, Sirius is not in Azkaban, and Harry is very smart. Harry is about six.

Harry and Sirius were in the massive kitchen of Potter Manor, waiting for James and Lily to come down. Harry looked to Sirius innocently…sort of. "Hey Sirius, wanna make a bet?" Harry knew that Sirius couldn't resist a good bet.

"What kind of bet?" Sirius asked.

"I bet you three galleons that after five minutes of my parents being down here, they will make out." Harry said, confidently.

"Your parents are way to modest, that's a safe bet." With a shake of the hand, the bet was settled. Sirius was sure he just got four galleons, the extra being interest. Just then James and Lily came down and into the kitchen. Harry got up and gave his parents their breakfast tea before placing his own in front of his chair. Both parents tasted their tea before nodding in appreciation and approval.

"This is very good tea Harry." Lily said.

"Yes this is rather good. It's…sweet. There's something familiar about it though." James said as he contemplated.

"Yes there is something familiar." Lily responded. Harry just gave a secret mischievous smirk and sat down. Only Sirius caught it because James and Lily were still trying to figure out the secret ingredient.

"What did you put in their tea?" Sirius hissed in Harry's ear.

"Oh nothing, just a bit of cinnamon, a dash of sugar, and a spritz of love potion, just enough for two minutes of passionate kissing after five minutes of being drunk." Harry said. He held out his hand as Sirius gave him the four galleons. Harry put the money in his pocket as he watched the clock. "Five, four, three, two, one." Just then Lily turned to James with renewed passion in her eye. Lily kissed him hard on the mouth, for about two minutes before the potion wore off. Lily broke away with her face as red as her hair. James was trying to remember his name. Harry held his hand out as Sirius gave him four galleons. He put the galleons in his pocket, not bothering to tell his uncle that he had already collected. Lily just realized what had been put in her tea. One of the weakest love potions there was! It could be easily deciphered by the sweet taste. It wasn't used often because, well its weak. "Merlin's beard!" James said. "I don't think we've done that since Hogwarts!"

"Prongs, I don't want to think about that! I just ate!" Sirius said, pretending to be mortified.

"Harry, did you give us love potion?" Lily said getting straight to the point, as always.

"Well…it was for a good cause." Lily crossed her arms, giving him a look that meant, "Continue if you dare." "I just got eight galleons from Sirius in a bet, that involved the love potion."

"What was the bet?" James asked, his Marauder side kicking in for a brief moment.

"That you two would make out after five minutes of being down here." Harry responded. James turned to Sirius.

"You bet seven galleons on that?" James asked him.

"No…I bet three…" Sirius said as he thought about this. James turned to Harry.

"How'd you get eight?"

"I collected twice, once when I told him about the love potion, second when you actually started." Harry said. James and Lily burst into laughter at their friend's stupidity. Sirius stood up and looked at Harry with vengeance. Harry ran out of the room the second he saw his uncle's face.

"YOU GET BACK HERE POTTER YOU OWE ME FOUR GALLEONS!" Sirius yelled as he raced after him.

"Your son." Lily said as she stood. She took the cups and plates before putting them in the sink. James stood also and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Nope, both, how else would he make such a good potion." With that he kissed Lily's cheek and went out the door, his hand on the family clock moving to "work". Lily just shook her head as she heard her son's delighted squeal.

End.
