"Come on, Bella! You promised!" Alice whined.

Why in heck had I agreed to that STUPID deal?

"Come on, Alice. Do we really have to do it?" I groaned.

"YES! Bella, you are NOT backing out, are YOU?" Alice accused.

Honestly, I wish I could've.

"Fine, I'll be in this moronic band of yours." I grumbled.

"Yay! I knew you'd come around Bella! Don't tell Rose, but you are way better than her!" Alice squealed.

What an honor.

Alice, the annoying brat she is, made a deal with me if I failed my Biology test, then I would have to be in the talent show at the school. Of course, true psychic she is, knew that I would fail.

Even after nightly studying.

I hate you Alice.

Just then, Edward walked in.

"Bella, take a chill pill!" He cried.

Whatever, EDWARD! GEEZ! ARE YOU MY BOSS OR SOMETHING! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO WATCH ME 24/7???

Okay, I'll admit I was a little harsh.

He looked at me with a smirk on his face.

"Mrs. Cullen?" Edward questioned that mischievous look on his face.

He knew how angry I was.

"I'M NOT MARRIED, YET, EDWARD!" I exclaimed through clenched teeth.

Now, I've got this dumb band thing to worry about, along with the marriage deal.

I'm too young to get married!

(sob)

If you couldn't tell,

I'm losing it.

"Come on; let's go out to dinner, Mrs. Cullen!" Edward demanded, pulling my hand.

I swear, he was as bad as Alice sometimes.

He turned around.

"Bella, are you really getting that bad? That you have to compare me to Alice?" Edward asked concern in his eyes.

"Shut up!" I punched him in the arm.

We walked out their beautiful home, and over to his Volvo.

"Alice already gave me a band rehearsal schedule." Edward remarked, trying to get me talking.

As usual, he did.

"Really? What does she have me down for?" I asked, cautiously.

"A singer and I'm piano/keyboardist." Edward replied.

Big surprise.

He continued, "Alice is also a singer, Emmett is a drummer (chuckle), Rose is on bass along with Jasper.

"Interesting…" I mumbled.

We pulled into the psychiatrist office.

"Are you serious?" I exclaimed.

"Sadly, yes." Edward replied, getting out of the car.

I stayed in it, I wasn't going to a dumb doctor.

Then, my cell rang, while Edward stood, in front of the car, tapping his foot.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Bella, get over here, Rose got high again." Alice yelled.

Oh great, not again!

"Okay, I'll be right over!" I yelled back.

Last time this happened, Rose ended up wrecking the house, and wandered over to Mike's and asked him out.

Emmett was furious.

I hopped in the driver's seat, leaving Edward at the office.

Serves him right!

Later:

"Alice, I'm really not a great singer!" I confessed at our first rehearsal.

"Well, I'm sure we'll make the best of it." Alice said, choosing the right words.

Edward was playing scales on the piano, Emmett was grinning at the sight of the drums and the sticks in his hand, Rose sat at a stool filing her nails, and Jasper was checking out his bass guitar.

"Okay! How about we practice making tunes? You all should know how to play the instruments I assigned you!" Alice instructed.

Yeah, easy for her to say, all of them have like, over sized brains that absorb anything and memorize anything! My voice wasn't exactly the easiest thing to tame.

Or play for the record.

Pretty soon we were all looking like pro band members.

Minus the fact that Emmett couldn't hold a beat.

Or the fact that Edward was acting really snooty.

Or that Rose didn't even want to be there.

Or that Alice was really bossy and annoying.

If you subtract all of that, then we were looking great!

We were hopeless.
