They started with six
Their power still young
Then grew to thirteen
Under a leader called One
A sin against nature
They should not have been
But with a promise of hearts
A quest they did begin
The collection of hearts
From others who Are
With the addition of many
The goal didn't seem far
But a hero was born
To stop all their deeds
The Other of Thirteen
No heart did he need
They attempted to stop him
Setting numerous traps
A castle of darkness
And their numbers did lapse
The king of the castle
A controller of flora
His plan never was
And he was felled by Sora
Lightning was her power
She was sharp and mean
But soon the wonder dissipated
And her luster lost its sheen
A chilly academic
Ice was his domain
His failed to see what his experiment did
And the cold did not retain
The strong and silent hero
As steady as the Earth
But soon it came to crumble
The power under girth
He always liked his puzzles
And not a fan of fight
His potential yet unknown
He also met his plight
The key of destiny
As bright as the light he knew well
Became part of his Other
His nothingness he did sell
From thirteen to seven
They started to fade
And their control seemed to dull
Like the edge of a blade
The remainders were helpless
Their ends were all seen
One by one they were sent
To the sharp guillotine
The fire turned traitor
He was not part of the plan
He only wanted a companion
And sacrificed himself in the end
Water was a rebel
He thought he could feel
But has always was an outcast
To the hero he did kneel
Always strong and wild
Wind fought with all his might
But soon the gale was calmed
In the darkness of the night
Space is always there yet not
It fills places where nothing was found
But the being who had it was cornered
And brought down without a sound
Time was next to go
A gambler of fate he was
But in the end he bet too high
And could not help the cause
Pale in comparison to the sun
Moon was always in shadow
He might have wanted the prize the most
But a heart he was never endowed
The final player was number One
Nothingness he controlled
But alas he too was beaten
Like the members by which he was followed
Their last effort failed
The Organization now in flames
He ripped their goal to pieces
And ended their last games
Did they receive peace after all
And did they really disappear
It shows how very far they fell
When existence seemed so near
I noticed that not a lot of people write poetry around here and this had been in my head for a while.
Yes, I know that the order was probably messed up a bit, but I'm not sure of the order. I think it's fine how it is.
