"What did you do?" He growled, measured, even and yet they still cowered.

"We didn't know the NOS was connected! We were just screwing around!" Wally whined.

Bruce silenced him just by squinting.

"C'mon! We're all ok! Meghan flew us out in time!" Dick pressed

"That is not the point," Bruce growled, holding up his phone.

Billionaire's son and friends in wreck!

The Facebook posts, Twitter feeds and general internet was going nuts.

"What? A car wreck is bad? Do you remember what we do for a living?" Conner thundered, still not quite understanding the danger of the Bat.

"Superboy," Batman spoke slowly, refusing to acknowledge the civvie name Meghan had come up with.

"He didn't mean disrespect!" She interjected, probably saving Conner from a face full of kryptonite

"That isn't your decision," Bruce snarled, "I allow you to take the car to go to dinner and a movie. Not. Joyriding."

"I'll take full responsibility" Wally attempted tos peak and Bruce silenced him with a hand.

"You will, by training tonight. With me."

With the threat as his last words, Bruce vanished from the hall of Wayne Manor in the way only Batman could.

The 5 teens visibly sighed as a relief and gave Wally a look of sympathy.

"He's going to have my ass isn't he?"

"Completely," Dick nodded.

"I'm sorry Wally, we shouldn't have tried going so fast!" Meghan's words tumbled together, "You hit the NOS and then we cut the turn to sharp and"

"Hey hey, it's ok beautiful! Next time I'll take you with me, the fastest boy alive!"

"Hey fastest boy alive, you better get downstairs before a certain Bat find you," Dick laughed.

"Ya ya..." Wally muttered, eyeing the house with visible fear.

"I don't get it," Conner grumbled.

"You will eventually," Meghan smiled, "Let's go home!"

"Poor children," Alfred gave a small smile from beyond the teens, "Such trouble in paradise."
