"We will march on the capitol of Decia at night, during the switching of the guards you will wait for Lucio's cue. Does everyone understand?" The room filled with small noises of affirmation and nods. I stood from where I sat on my throne and waved my hand dismissively.

"Now all of you, leave." The elves and fey bowed and filed out of the room. All accept one who smirked from where he sat in the corner of the large throne room. I glanced over at him then turned away and pushed the doors to the balcony open. I walked over to ledge, looking out at the sky. I heard footsteps behind me but did not turn.

"You ever get tired of killing and conquering?" The boyish voice laced with a heavy accent asked, hints of mocking arrogance in his voice. I looked at him blankly.

"Not particularly." I said flatly. The boy snickered and jumped up sitting on the balcony's railing beside me.

"See that's what I like about'cha queenie, your brutally honest and as equally cruel. Makes my life hell of a lot more interestin." He grinned and I sighed.

"Of course you would, you merely live for thrill. What greater thrill than war. Though I will once again remind you, that this war is merely meant to obliterate men's existence." The boy huffed.

"Ya so melodramatic." I wheeled on him and grabbed him around his throat. His eyes widened and his fingers grappled at my hand to release his neck.

"Melodramatic? Shall I remind you that my hatred for their kind is more than a mere changeling such as yourself could ever hope to comprehend? I will again tell you not to question my resolve. I will not be satisfied until every one of them are heaped in a pile of blood corpses beneath my feet, and until such a time you are merely alive because of your usefulness, which can be quickly outsourced. You'd be best to remember that." I threw him to the ground where he coughed and sputtered. I turned and stormed out of the throne room. As I entered the hall I called out the name of my loyal companion.

"Gaiden." Almost immediately the dog sized dragon was at my side, we began to walk through the halls. Gaiden is a soul steed, a type of dragon almost completely wiped out by men. Soul steeds match to one being to who they serve loyally and without fail, when a soul steed finds its match it loses its soul and divides its masters soul in two taking half of the soul as its own. Gaiden is a rather amazing example of what a good souls divide is, among other things, they do two amazing things that most dragons cannot which is talk, and use magic. Gaiden is epitome of beauty and grace, his eyes are a sparkling emerald and his scales are as hard as diamonds. Much like my snow white skin he is a milky white color as well, he is lean and moves like smoke.

"How did everything go?" His deep raspy baritone voice was filled with concern. I looked down at him and relaxed.

"Smoothly for the most part." He let out a low growl his ears folding back.

"What did he do this time?" I huffed in amusement and stopped in front of my bed chamber doors. I pushed them open and walked inside, Gaiden followed closely behind closing the doors with his tail.

"Nothing in particular though I find Lucio's behavior troublesome. He made his usual snide remarks and called me queenie which you know I absolutely detest." He snickered and walked over to me rubbing his head against my legs and I smiled kneeling down and hugging him close. He let out a low purr.
