Ok. I don't know where this came from. I only saw Camp Rock a week ago (and I loved it by the way) and I was reading Shason fics earlier and I wanted to write my own. So here it is...

Not a chance.

As he watched Mitchie and Shane kiss, he sighed.

In his hand were roses and a card.

He was going to tell Shane everything.

How much he loved him, how he had loved him since they were kids, but now he was with the girl with the voice and he had no chance.

Suddenly Shane walked up.

'What's with the roses mate? You got a girlfriend?'

Shane didn't know that he was gay.

'Uh...yeah you could say that.'

'Ah, well don't let me be in your way then.'

Shane walked off.

Jason threw the roses and card onto the ground and walked off. He was never going to be able to tell him and he thought there wasn't a point. Shane wouldn't like him back anyway.

--

Shane watched Jason throw the stuff on the ground and walk off. He snuck back over and picked up the card and opened it.

It read:

Dear Shane,

It's been what ten years since we first met and there is something I need to tell you. I've loved you from the day we met. After this camp thing, I have to leave Connect 3. My family is moving to San Francisco and I have to go with them. I thought I should tell you beforehand so you would understand.

Goodbye mate. It's been fun.

Love,

Jason.

Shane gasped and dropped the card. He looked up at Jason's retreating self. He loved him?! He loved him for ten years? He didn't say anything for ten years?

'Shane!'

Shane shook his head. He turned and smiled at Mitchie.

'Hey Mitch. Ready for practice?'

Mitchie nodded and together they walked off.

--

Jason walked into his cabin. Nate was there strumming his guitar. He looked up when Jason entered.

'What did he say?'

Nate knew everything. Jason had told him the day after Shane was dropped off at Camp Rock.

'Nothing. I didn't give them to him. He assumes I have a girlfriend...'

'It's ok Jase. I'm sure he loves you too!'

The two boys turned at the sound of footsteps

'Shane?!'

They both said a little startled.

'Hey Nate and...Jason.'

'I-I thought you were having a practice session with Mitchie.' Nate exclaimed.

'I cancelled. I have something more important to do.'

'Which is what?' Jason asked.

'This.' Shane said as he walked up and planted his lips on Jason's.

Nate smiled as Jason's face light up.

'Jase...did you seriously think you could leave without saying goodbye?'

'Yo-you read my card?'

'Yes Jason. It was lovely.'

'B-but...'

'One more thing Jason. I love you too. Always have and always will.'

BTW, I don't know how long they've known each other, so let's just ignore the ten years thing. It was a guesstimation.
