#MaiJuneMonday begins! I really love this crackship so I'm super eager for Mondays. This is a day early because I want to get the word out about tomorrow! :D
Lonely
Mai stared out at the sunset.
She was living in her family's abandoned lake-house. After putting it together, she made it her lonely home. Unfortunately, she had a guest. Last night she brought home a surly woman who caught her drunken attention.
Her peaceful sungazing solitude broke when June strode across the wooden balcony and leaned over the edge. She was as unimpressed as Mai; this lake was dull and uninteresting. Last night, however, was a lot of fun.
"I thought about making breakfast but then I remembered that I didn't care," said June, stepping back and turning to face last night's lay. Mai looked up at her and shrugged.
"I don't do breakfast," she dryly replied. "I do a solitary lifestyle and moderately attractive women."
"Not your moderately attractive man? I think I recall you publicly dating the Fire Lord," June remarked. Mai sighed.
"I got tired of him. Now, you should probably get ready to leave." Mai stood up and walked to the edge. The birds raucously chirped and drove Mai mad. She hated when animals made noises.
"Yeah; I guess I should." June leaned in and fiercely kissed Mai.
That raw heat was the cure for loneliness.
