"Jesus! Can you come here?" Mariana called for him from her bedroom.
"Yeah, what's up?" Jesus walked in, and Mariana smiled a devious smile.
"Since Moms, Jude, and Brandon are all out, I thought that we could have a little twin bonding." Mariana said, and Jesus was left amused.
"Okay... What do you want to do?" Jesus laughed at himself. Of course his twin sister was going to make him do something on the only day they both had away from the rest of their family.
"So, I'm going to teach you how to apply makeup." Mariana said.
"Why?" Why did he need to learn how to do makeup? He's a guy! When was this skill ever going to be used?
"You know, just in case I slip into a coma, or something. I'll always look good." Mariana said, and Jesus rolled his eyes. Of COURSE this was something that would only benefit her.
Jesus thought about refusing, but it wouldn't do any good, so why not? It wasn't like he had plans for the day anyway.
"Ugh. Fine... But only because your my twin, and I love you." Jesus said, and Mariana almost squealed with excitement. "This is going to be so much fun!"
Mariana began lecturing on which colors are which, what products to use on which type of skin, what to use to apply the products, and everything else that he would need to know. He was sitting there dumbfounded. Who knew he needed to know this much information, to apply makeup?
She began asking questions, like "which brush goes with which product?" 'Which by the way, is a trick question, because you can use that particular brush with multiple products.' Jesus thought bitterly to himself. How was he supposed to know that?
"Don't be mad Jesus, that was a hard question!" Mariana said, and then Jesus gave her a look. "Okay, okay, chill. We're getting to the fun part! Application!" Mariana said, and Jesus rolled his eyes, for about the millionth time that day, he figured.
And even if Jesus didn't want to admit it, he had fun. He really did. Him and Mariana got into a sort of war, as you will, and they both ended up with makeup all over them. Surprisingly not very much went on their faces.
After they got cleaned up, Jesus started actually doing Mariana's makeup, or at least trying to.
"Wow, Jesus. Maybe we are twins." Mariana said once he was done. "I'm impressed."
"Thanks. I had a good teacher." Jesus told her, and she smiled.
"Now, why don't you go get a shower, and I'll order us a pizza? We can have a movie Marathon?" Jesus sighed in relief.
"That sounds like a great idea."Jesus smiled at her.
