"Hey Ryuu, want to watch a movie?"
A grunt came from the pile of pillows and mop of navy hair on the couch.
"What movie? Something scary? Funny?"
Another grunt.
Alibaba sighed, walking over to the couch before leaning against the back and looking down. "What's wrong?"
Hakuryuu was lying face down on the couch wearing only a pair of loose shorts, multiple pillows strewn hazardously over him. His skin was flushed from the boiling summer heat and their broken A/C.
"I'm dying. It's too hot to be humanly possible." He whined, voice muffled by the pillows.
Alibaba, on the other hand, was used to the heat, having originated from the middle east. Hakuryuu couldn't see him, but he knew he was grinning smugly. He would wipe that smirk off his face if he even had half the energy to do so.
"It's only 35 degrees, you're not going to die Ryuu. Besides, the forecast says it's only going to get hotter. Suck it up."
"No." He half moaned, half whimpered, "Get me some ice."
"If you pick a movie to watch."
"Fine."
The movie never ended up being watched, however, as Alibaba decided to pour the ice on Hakuryuu's back instead of handing it to him, which lead to a very satisfying yelp. It also lead to ice being thrown at each other, then water, then a very wet and soggy apartment to be cleaned by an even wetter and soggier pair of roommates.
