It was a week before Christmas and all the wildcats were sitting at a lunch table discussing what the week would be like.
"Come on Gabs it's your turn to host movie night." Chad said through a mouthful of fries.
"I told you guys that my parents don't allow me to have friends over." she said lying through her teeth. "So drop it."
"Gabriella, can I talk to you for a second?" Troy asked. She nodded and let Troy put his arm around her waist. When he pushed open the door his hand dropped from her waist and took her hand. He led her up to a yellow door and pushed it open letting her lead the way up the stairs. She immediately dropped his hand and walked over to the rail.
"I know your lying down there; you know you can tell me anything right?" She nodded and sighed. Troy came up behind her and put his hands over hers on the rail. "So you want to tell me why?" She nodded again and began to speak.
"Do you want the long version or the short version?"
"Long." He said.
"Ok well four and a half years ago my little sister was born. Then nine months later my parents got into a hit and run. They both died on contact. I was taken to court and was told that I had to stay with someone but I said no. The judge agreed as long as someone came and checked on me. I said that my neighbors would but when I got home I found that my neighbors had moved. So I was left alone with a nine month baby. I had no money so the house was taken from me. I know live in a horrible house with no heat, no electric, no plumbing. I work at the coffee shop and that really only gets to buy us a little food. Isabella, my sister, hasn't gotten a Christmas gift, a birthday gift or anything else. I feel so bad for her because she knows what's going on when she hears the neighbors talking. And I try my hardest to make the best holidays that she can have." Gabriella said while crying.
Troy turned her around and wiped her tears. "It's going to be okay. Hey how a bout you take me to your house today and I'll see what I can do for you." He said and she nodded. Just then the bell had rung and they walked down the stairs to meet their friends.
Okay I hope you like this one and I might update this more often since it's close to Christmas. Please R&R!!
