"Thisss isss ridiculusss. Thossse foolsss are ssso ssstupid to think that I don't know whatsss going on."
Voldemort paced the floor in his chamber, accompanied only by his pet snake Nagini.
"What troublesss you massster?" The snake hissed.
Voldemort paused, glanced at the snake, and then resumed his pacing.
"There isss a ssspy among my ranksss. I mussst ssslip information to my inner circle to find out who daresss to betray me. And believe me, when I dissscover who it isss, they and their entire family ssshall pay!." He hissed back.
Nagini said nothing in reply. She couldn't tell him anything because of the fact that it was she herself that was the spy. She would let him search among his beloved 'Death Eaters'. If a few of them got killed in the process, well, that was all the better. For now, she would let him think she was as loyal as ever. And she would pray for the day that he was killed.
Author's Note - Ok, so this one came to me out of nowhere. Most people do the 'Severus was the spy' thing, but I like the idea of the snake being the spy better, for some reason. It's been a long time since the last story I posted, but not to fear. I have several multichaptered stories that I'm working on and as soon as they're done, I'll start posting again.
