Summary: Clint and Laura are two very different people. Somehow, by some little miracle they are perfect for each other.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, if I did there would be a movie called Budapest coming out next year.
Notes: Hope you like this. I have Hawkeye/Jeremy Renner stuck in my head. Please follow, favorite, and review!
Laura loved winter.
Clint loved summer.
Laura grew up in a great family, and went to school and college.
Clint's parents died when he was little. He grew up in the circus with his brother, then his brother died and Hawkeye met Phil Coulson.
If you asked them what time it is, Laura would say it's ten, Clint would say its nine fifty seven.
They fought for an hour about how an hour and fifty nine minutes was not the same as two hours.
"Clint the movie is two hours."
He would shake his head and say, "No."
Laura swore he was causing her grey hairs, not their children.
Clint was very athletic.
Laura could hardly walk and chew gum at the same time.
He trained two hours every day, shooting arrow after arrow.
During those two hours Laura would watch every soap opera she possibly could. "I have my own hobbies Clint," she would say.
He couldn't paint.
She couldn't shoot.
Laura wanted a dog.
Clint wanted a fish.
So, Natasha turned into one of their pets. She was their practice baby before Cooper came. If you talk to her about it, she'll punch you in the face.
Cooper said momma first.
Lila said daddy.
Nathanial said Nat, the Black Widow smiled at the shocked parents and cooed at the baby.
They were both used to not seeing each other for a long amount of time.
Clint hated leaving.
Laura hated it when he came back, she couldn't possibly know what he's been through. She thank god that Natasha was only a phone call away, so she could find out what was wrong.
They both could cook.
Clint could always beat her at darts.
She didn't even know why she put that stupid board in the house.
When he needs to be serious and needed to calm her nerves, he would say, "Yes Ma'ma."
Laura always made sure to break something when he was gone, so when he came home he would fix it.
The roof, window, door, porch, chair swing.
He found out and questioned her about it. "Laura, why would you do that?"
She looks up at him with tears in her eyes, "Because, every time I tell you on the phone about something that's broken you promise you'll fix it. So you have to come back from every mission to fix it, because you never break a promise. You have to come back."
It breaks his heart. So during missions he comes up with a new project he'll do once he gets home.
It warms her heart.
She wants all the Avengers over for Thanksgiving.
He wants them over during Halloween.
Laura knows every single injury he has ever had.
Clint knows her deepest fears.
They're completely different.
But they work so well together.
