As she lay in his arms, she thought of how he didn't want to have sex with her. He said she'd thought of him as a stereotype, but that wasn't right. She was a relationship expert, so she had to know how men thought. How could a man not be interested in sex? After all, her fiancé had an affair.
Maybe it was just her. Graham left her for another, maybe there was something wrong with her. After all, Jack didn't want her either.
Yet, maybe it would be different. After all, how many times had a man saved her? She was always dependant on them being there, but only so that she wouldn't be alone. This was the first time in a long time any man did something for her—saved her—without expecting sex. Maybe she didn't know how to handle it.
Alaska was different than the city and the life she left behind. There was no shortage of men here, and she would have all of them to learn from.
