A slight explination may be needed for this one.
Dommie, Malcolm, and Holly are a few of my 'minor' vampire characters. I've had them for a while now, and transfered them over to Vampire: The Requiem for writing purposes. There are reason's Malcolm doesn't have an egyptian name here, as well as Dommie going by what he does. If I ever get motivated enough I'll finish their charactersheets that have the explinations on them.
Anyways, in regards to the story. Dommie took the other two out to something, think theatre or something similar, and lost Malcolm in the crowd. They left and realized the said Egyptian wasn't following and went back to find him. So this is the 'night after' from that incident.
I thought it was cute, hush.
----------------------------------------------------
"What do you want?" hissed Malcolm in annoyance as he felt a presence behind him. If it was Holly, she wouldn't understand and stalk away - if it was Dommie? The other had damn well better leave. Stubbornly he refused to turn as the gentle padding of footsteps deposited someone, whom he assumed now to be Dommie, behind him. Holly would have walked off already; it had to be the gypsy.
Dommie smiled gently, accepting his friend's anger with him. "To apologize for last night," he purred softly, slipping his arms tenderly around the other's shoulders as he leaned over the couch. "I didn't mean to leave you there.." he murmured, turning his palm upwards to show Malcolm what he was holding. "You will forgive me, wont you?"
It was superficial, the gift of kohl. Nonetheless, it made Malcolm smile in spite of himself. His delicate, olive toned hands lifted to Dommie's face, lightly tracing the contours of his lips. A soft chuckle rumbled from the Egyptian's chest as Dommie placed a feather light kiss on his fingertips.
"I still hate you." Insisted the vampire, the harshness of his words diminished by the faint smile still tugging at his lips.
"You hate everyone." retorted Dommie with a soft laugh, crystal blue eyes radiating amusement.
The Egyptian shrugged gracefully, a full smile appearing at the words. Turning his face, a fleeting kiss was placed on Dommie's lips before Malcolm wriggled his lithe body out of the other's grasp, taking the kohl with him. In seconds the door to his room was closed, leaving Dommie leaning over an empty couch.
"What was that about?" came a sudden question from behind him. Dommie glanced over his shoulder to the young, black haired teenager standing there with her arms crossed. "He was smiling."
"Creature comforts." replied Dommie, his thick German accent rolling pleasantly over the 'R's. He smiled faintly as Holly disappeared down the hall to her room. Righting himself finally, he stretched, hopping over the back of the couch in a most undignified manner. Chuckling softly, he relaxed against the couch, passing the night in welcoming silence.
