A/N: I don't own Harry Potter. This is for BookWorm77071! Merry Christmas! You're one of the best people I've met here on .

I'm With You.

Ron was late. He rarely was late nowadays, but tonight he was. After a year of dating Hermione, he'd found that punctuality was important.

He'd told her to meet him atop a bridge. Just after the sun set – he said he had something special planned. What on earth that could be, though, was a mystery to her.

Thus she stood in the dark, stealing glances at her watch, only to realize it was too dark to see. She peaked her hearing, wanting to hear everything around her. The water flowing underneath the bridge, frogs had formed a choir, the birds were settling in for the night. A stray rabbit hopped behind her in the grass.

She couldn't believe it when she found the bridge near The Burrow. Such a beautiful place in nature. Serene, quiet, peaceful… she knew why Mrs. Weasley had kept this place for herself. It was a nice distance away from the Burrow, which sometimes felt overflowing with people.

Where was Ron? It was getting cold, and she was only wearing shorts and a T-shirt. She heightened her hearing a tad more – hoping to hear the approaching footsteps.

Alas, nothing.

What is it I like about this guy?

Harry appeared out of nowhere. He was dressed neatly, in a tuxedo? She didn't understand. He took her hand and led her to the house she thought of as her second home.

He led her through the house to the back garden, where she met a new, surprising scene. The whole Weasley family was there, including Andromeda and Teddy. The garden was done nicely, with fairly lights and golden streamers adorning the bushes.

"Harry, what's happening?" She whispered to her friend. The latter gave no explanation but a large grin, before he detached himself from her and went over to Ginny, who was standing off to one side.

"Hermione?" Ron made her jump, popping out from behind her.

"Yeah?"

"Marry me?"

She stared. Ron was behind her, a ring lying on his hand. Good, the box would've been a bother. She grinned at him.

"Yes!"

"Really?" Ron asked in utter disbelief.

"Yes!" She exclaimed, wrapping both arms around his neck.

The Weasley family burst into applause.

"Really?"

"Are you trying to talk me out of it?" She asked, pulling back slightly to look at him.

"No, it's just that I cannot believe it!" He laughed.

"Ronald!"

"You'll really be mine?"

"Ron, I was yours from the day I told you that you had dirt on your nose."

"Yeah… I still can't believe I thought you to be annoying."

"Yes, well, I did have my moments…"

"Guys! Just kiss already and be done with it! I did not wear this tuxedo for nothing!" Harry yelled at them.

"Maybe not." Ron agreed. "I just reckoned it'd be a laugh if you showed up in it."

. . .

A/N: Yes, it's short, I know. But it's all yours, BW77071!
