This is for a-trip-to-honeydukes favorite couple contest. I picked Lily and James and I got the event Child Christening. I got the prompt patience. I found that Harry's christening was a quiet event with only his parents and Sirius present as said by J.K so this is what idea I got! Hope you enjoy!
TAP! TAP! TAP!
"Lily? Love, are you okay?" I asked my wife. She was staring at the door, taping her foot on the shiny hard-wood while I held Harry, only a few days old, young, innocent, and sweet.
"No." She said flatly, in a matter-of-fact tone.
I smiled at her and said, "What's the matter? You've now got a handsome baby boy and hey," My eyebrows lifted. "You've got me!" I said in a smug way. She rolled her eyes and started to tap her foot again.
Lily then groaned and said, "Why! WHY, James Potter? Why must your best friend ALWAYS be LATE?" She complained, begging me for an answer.
I shrugged, "Sorry love. That's just Sirius, always has been fashionably late, always will be." I said and kissed her head. She moaned again, always so impatient…my Lily.
"Patience love." I said easily while Harry's little eyelids fluttered.
Rolling her eyes, she agreed with me saying an unenthusiastic, "I know." Then Sirius came through the doors.
"Sorry I'm late Flower, Prongs," He grinned and looked at Harry who was now awake, lying in my arms, "Prongs Jr." He added in-his new nickname for his godson.
"Alright," Lily sighed, suddenly much less stressed from the look in her eyes. Smiling slightly she said, "Let's go get our little boy christened." She grinned at me, staring proudly at our Harry James Potter.
Sirius' eyes then shot up, "OH! Wait! I need to go home quickly and get my present! Damn! I left it!" Then he was gone, apparated.
Lily huffed, definitely livid. She really needed to learn patience…
