Burnout

Practicing fire was proving to be disastrous in any and every sense. I think practicing in Asgard was the worst part. I positioned myself near the target and impel this new force of energy. It grew out of control, not even grazing the target, but instead hitting an Asgardian home, making an Asgardian women cry, "Why do you have to be so malevolent?" she shook her fist at me, her husband coming out, "What is wrong my dear?" she pointed towards me, "That little demon is what's trifling with our lives! She's a curse on this land!" The husband just laid a hand on her shoulder, consoling her, "Don't worry, the treaty should be made soon, until then, I will take care of this-this monster!" I knew I was in for it now that was the third house I had burned down, in three hours. The man came running at me, I screamed, "Oh gods oh gods!" Running up a hill the man gained on me, he was the fastest one today, sprinting uphill with a spear in his hand, screaming, "You have done enough!"

He got ahead of me, holding his spear to the front of him, "Nowhere to run little monster!" he was right, surveying the area, escape was improbable, and I hated improbability. Why couldn't he be like the last two Asgardians, they yelled, chased me halfway across Asgard and went back home shaking their fists in the air, cursing every two words. The man started running at me with his spear, I didn't want to hurt this man, but I just smirked right as the man grew within twenty feet of me, I palmed my fists, feeling this power of being hot blooded, throwing my fist forward, lunging my right foot forward, the fire flew. Swiveling my body around in a circling motion, the fire drew around the man; maybe I just needed this force of adrenaline in me, to drive the fire inside of me. The man just sneered, "Coward! You witch!" gritting my teeth, "I resent that remark, fool."

I found myself, not only my palms burning with fire, I swept through the fire, and the fire was around the man, at least ten feet away from his body. Raising his spear, the man was resilient lunged down on me, but before it could get to me, it grew black and dispersed into ashes, blowing into the wind. I watched the ashes blow away as the man pulled a dagger from his belt loop. Before the man could attack however, the fire became to be extinguished, the man putting down his dagger, but the fire was still full of torment in my palms. Looking around I saw my father, he didn't look at all happy, well, and actually I couldn't tell. He went up to me and grabbed my palms; the fire crisped and crackled being extinguished. Putting my hands back down he went over to the Asgardian man, picked up his dagger and gave it to him saying in a bucolic voice, "Please, sir, I am deeply sorry, now go home or I must report you."

The man just shook and ran off, my father turning his direction towards me again, putting his hand on his forehead, "How many today?" I hesitated, shoveling my shoes into the ground, "Uhhh, three houses today, that makes." I counted on my fingers, "Ten houses this week." I thought again, "With six complaints, the others just ran screaming in terror." I tried not to laugh at the last comment. Putting both hands on my shoulders, "I feel that you must train somewhere else, I thought you said that you would not do this, I told you fire is a stubborn element to deal with." Raising my voice to an awkward tone, "Well, you are never here to teach me!" Heaving a heavy sigh, "I know I'm not always here, but I won't always be here, so it is better for you to be vigilant." Running a hand down my cheek, "Okay?" it was hard to say, I choked a little on my word, "Ok…" the area was silent for a few minutes, "Where did you have in mind to send me to practice?" he have a devious smile, "What about Midgard?"
