Hi guys, just another one-shot. It's Oscarrie friendship, but slightly romance-y. I love this ship because they're besties, and they would be pretty cute together. I will update 'Poets of MI9' soon, I just have a bit of writer's block. Anyhow, enjoy!

Carrie Stewart sat down at her desk. She had just gotten back from a really intense training session. Her mother had been screaming at her for the whole time. She had recently won silver at the All-England under-18 tumbling event, which she had been really pleased with, her mother however, had not been so pleased, hence the training had gotten more challenging. She drummed her fingers on the wood of the desk, waiting for the web-page to load. At long last, it did. 'CARRIE'S GYMNASTICS' came up on the screen in bright orange lettering. She hadn't had time to read the comments on her blog in a couple of days. There were only three new ones since Wednesday.
"Go Carrie! You can do it,
Love Gita and Harriet"
"I don't care if you got silver, you're our golden girl!
Cuz xoxox"
"You really are very bendy. Seriously, it doesn't look right!"
Oscar x"
Carrie blinked, and did a double take. Oscar had commented? And put a kiss? He liked Avril, right? She knew she was probably just second choice, second place. Again. Just then, her phone buzzed. She picked it up, seeing she had a text from Oscar.
Help, Avril won't stop phoning me! I'm at Yalehill park and she's here too! This is getting kind of stalkerish! Come and save me!
Carrie smiled. Maybe this time she was first choice, first place. Gold, not silver. She put her phone in her pocket, still grinning, and ran out of the house towards the park, a plan to rescue Oscar forming in her mind.
Carrie reached the gates just as Avril reached Oscar. Oscar was evidently uncomfortable, and was trying to signal to Carrie with his eyes that he needed her help. Carrie ran over to Oscar, full speed, hugging him.
"Honey, here you are, sorry I'm late," said Carrie, smirking at Avril's reaction. "Play along, ugly." she muttered under her breath so only Oscar could hear.
"It's okay, Babe." said Oscar, catching on. Avril muttered something about having to be home soon, and left. Oscar and Carrie walked towards the other gate, laughing.
"When I said to rescue me, that was not what I had in mind." giggled Oscar
"Oh, you're welcome!" said Carrie, faking anger.
"It was awkward, but useful." said Oscar
"And funny." added Carrie
They had now reached the point where Oscar went left and Carrie went right.
"Bye, then." said Carrie, as Oscar stretched out his arms, pulling her into a friendly hug. It was quick, and when they broke apart, they went their separate ways, but both looked over their shoulders as they walked away.
As Carrie walked, she thought. Almost every other boy she'd met had thought of her as good for a game of footie, but nothing more than that. With Oscar, she felt like she'd struck gold, found her first choice, he was in first place. Gold, not silver.
If you enjoyed it, or you have some constructive criticism, or if you just love unicorns, then leave a review. Oh, and in case anyone's wondering, those were the genuine comments on Carrie's blog from S3E3 Agent X. Go check if you don't believe me : )
