Hello. It's my first story in after a few years, and it's also my first story in english (I speak spanish, yayz) and it's un-beta'd (though I tried my best to not make mistakes...), so I hope you don't mind the mistakes.
I've been obsessed with Fairy Tail lately and this oneshot is supposed to be an apply for a roleplay; but since it's bigger than expected I thought it could be used as a little oneshot. And so, here I am, hoping you'll like it. It's a little introspection about Levy; she's my favourite character and I think she's far stronger than we've seen and I like to explore that.
That's all.
(And I dont' own Fairy Tail. If I did, Gajeel and Levy would have been canon ages ago).
After reading the first chapter of Lucy's novel, Levy wondered what was wrong with her. Once she and Lucy had become closer friends; she knew that there was no way Lucy could have read more books than her. Of course her friend read more books than the average people; but on that topic, Levy was on her own league.
But then, after reading a lot since she learnt how to; why couldn't she write something as good as Lucy?
She loved Lucy's writing. The characters had a lot of potential to develop and the plot was amazing; something you don't read nowadays. Levy read the first chapter again and then took out of her bag the notebook where she wrote some of her own ideas; she read them again and frowned. It was like if a toddler was the one who wrote them.
"What's wrong with me?" She whined and hit her head against the table. She stayed like that for a few seconds and then sighed. She sucked at what she loved the most. Without noticing (after all, living all these years at Fairy Tail's guild, one gets used to it), another fight started and everyone was yelling and hitting each other. Levy never participated on those, but since this day sucked; it could suck even more.
"LEVY!" She couldn't even recognize the voice of the one who called her; but when she got up searching for the person, a ball of fire landed on her notebook.
Wonderful.
"TSUNAMI!" She screamed without thinking it twice; and then the whole guild was submerged under the word Levy used. The spell didn't hit her 'cause she was the one who casted it; so it gave her time to understand what happened. She blushed a lot after the spell disappeared and everyone was thrown everywhere and groaning in pain; so she took her belongings and exited the guild as fast as possible. Everyone looked at her leaving and wondered what the hell happened to sweet bookworm Levy; but then the fight resumed when everyone tried to search for the culprit.
Outside, three blocks away already; Levy was still blushing and asking herself again: "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!" after doing that to everyone. She was so ashamed, they caught her in a terrible moment, but still that wasn't an excuse for her behavior... And then Levy remembered the faces of everyone and how they looked at her with disbelief... And she laughed. The people in the street stared at her, but stopped after noticing she was from Fairy Tail, those weirdos. Levy kept laughing until she reached her dormitory at Fairy Hills and threw herself to her bed.
"Who needs writing?" She asked herself with a smirk for no one.
She was a mage, after all. A mage of Fairy Tail, above everything. She could live her own adventures, so she didn't need to write them; she was already living her own book.
