In all that I've learned in life the most important thing was life isn't like one of those romance novels. In those books life always ended with the overly attractive couple running off in to the sunset. Life was never that happy. For so many there is no heroic man t save the girl. And if there is one of those men the girl always chooses him. She never ignores the feelings for him till it's too late. In romance novels they don't make mistakes like kissing the heroic man and then showing up with your own boyfriend who's not the heroic man. In those romance novels the man doesn't get hurt and doesn't move off not only from his injury but from the girl who hurt him. In those romance novels when the man confessed his feeling for the girl she would burst into tears and the two would kiss she wouldn't stay silent to scared to admit to him that she loves him. And in those romance novels when the hero comes back the two see each other across a crowed club or he shows at her doorstep or a running reunion at the beach. Never showing up in a Halloween mask trying to fool her. and friends laughing behind her back. In those romance novels when the two danced it was in a ballroom with long gowns flowing and men in smart tuxes. Not in a small living room. In those romance novels when the two were about to kiss nothing got in between them and fireworks would cliché in the background. Their would be no knock on the door there would be no annoying man trying to get in the way. And when the two kissed the heroic man would never leave the girl crying in her home. None of this would happen in a romance novel but as I've said life isn't a romance novel.

AN Hope you like this. This little tidbit has been a concoction of missing ER and summer vacation!
