"When a person can no longer laugh at himself, it is time for others to laugh at him." -Thomas Szasz

"That was NOT funny." Sirius exclaimed to his friends laughing at him.

"You have to admit, it was very funny Sirius." James told Sirius through his laughter.

"No, it was not. I tripped down a flight of stairs! I could be seriously hurt right now!"

"But you're not. And you did not trip, you slipped over spilt water. The thing that makes it funny is because you did not get hurt. If you had gotten hurt, we would have taken you to the Hospital Wing." Remus explained to him.

"You still laughed at me though!" Sirius whined.

"Sirius, calm down. Normally you would be laughing with us. Why not now?" James asked his best friend, trying to keep his laughter in when he saw that his friend was actually serious.

"Because it wasn't funny!"

"Sirius, when you stop laughing at yourself for things that you did, other people will start laughing at you and it will hurt you." Remus explained carefully, trying not to hurt Sirius.

"I'm already hurt, though!"

"Just drop it!" James exclaimed.

"Wow, James. You're actually being the peacemaker. I'm officially shocked." Sirius told James. The three of them laughed together.

"See? I'm not hurt and you guys were laughing at me."

"Shut up, James."
