When You Say Nothing At All- Allison Krauss

Jim doesn't say 'I love you' out loud. But then again he doesn't need too. Jim says I love you best when he says nothing at all. It's amazing to me how he can speak right to me, to my heart, when he never even says a thing.

I once tried to explain this concept to Spock, but try as I may I just couldn't. How do you explain the way that the smile on his face tells me that he needs me? That he can't live without me? How do you explain the truth in his eyes that tell me that he'll never leave me, never betray me?

How do you describe that the simple touch of his hand can let me know that he'll catch me if I ever fall. How can you describe the fact, that even after the worst day in the history of bad days, all he has to do is pull me close and hold me to make my day seem just a little bit better.

There is not a dictionary in this universe, in any universe, which can describe what's being said between his heart and mine.

So even though Jim doesn't say 'I Love You' and even though he'd probably #!*% it up if he tried, he doesn't have to say it out loud.

Jim says it best when he says nothing at all.

A/N- So I know that it's freakishly short but I didn't really think that it needed anything else to go in it. Don't forget to check out my profile and vote on who you think the 'Hottest Star Trek Character" is.
