A/N: Written for Colors Competition and Snakes and Ladders Challenge. If it wasn't for those, I'd probably never write about Mundungus :D And a disclaimer: This is written for fun, not profit. I do not own anything except the plot.
As he went through the fine china with the Black crest engraved on them, Mundungus was surprised to realize he did not feel guilty at all.
Sure, this was what he did for a living - a man's gotta do what he's gotta do to survive, after all - but he'd always liked Sirius. He was one of the few people who actually treated him in a friendly manner.
Then again, he was sort of used to stealing from Sirius. It felt natural, even.
Retrospectively, he hadn't actually stolen her. He had never even found out.
But still, sleeping with his girlfriend was probably worse than stealing some china he'd probably hated.
And he hadn't felt guilty for that either. Sirius had always been a good looking guy, always popular with the ladies.
Him, on the other hand, didn't get the chance to get laid very often.
And when someone as gorgeous as Marlene McKinnon was offering, no guy in his right mind would refuse.
I still don't get what she found in me that she didn't in Sirius, he thought as he kept stuffing the plates into a sack, smiling a little, still surprised at his luck after all these years.
Must be the charm of the bad boy.
