Hello, my loyal readers, this is a follow up fiction from my previous oneshot, "His Wind, Her Wings", if you havent read that yet, please give it a look, but if you have this is the 'sequel' i hinted at.

I dont own Legend of Zelda or its characters, thats Nintendo's honor. And with enough babling from me, please enjoy.

Letters.

Komali stood out on one of the wooden balconies in the back of the large mountain island of Dragonroost awaiting the latest mail carrier from Outset, the home island of the Hero of the Great Sea, Link, one of his closest friends. He knew that this one would bring word from either his childhood friend, Medli, or the girl he secretly loved, Aryll. He laughed to himself quietly as he thought back to his collaboration those few years ago to push Link and Medli together.

He and Aryl were friends then, though through the following months as Link, His sister and Medli traveled between Dragonsroost and Outset, the prince had grown close to the blonde girl. No one knew of the relationship for fear of his fathers disproval. He wished they could be like Link and Medli, happy together where ever they were, not having to keep secretive, to be able to hold her when ever he wanted, but his position as prince prevented him from leaving the island for long periods of time.

The young princes thoughts were cut short by a voice he had been waiting to hear. "Prince Komali, a letter for you from Outset." Komali turned to see Quill standing behind him, arm outstretched with a letter, a wise knowing looking on the elder post carriers face.

The prince didn't need to look at the letter to know who it was from, Quill always looked at him like that when he and Aryll exchanged letters. Taking the letter Komali checked the envelope to confirm what he already knew.

"You love her don't you." Komali looked up at him mortified, suddenly finding it hard to form complete sentences.

"H-how- What…" Quill laughed softly. "That girl from Outset, Aryll-"

"Is it that obvious?" The prince cut him off, a red tint covering his face. "Only to me, I do deliver your letters you remember. I've seen the way both of you look when you get a letter from the other."

"You wont tell my father will you?"

"He need to know, Komali."

The princes face fell, fearing his father would forbid him to be with Aryl, or even let him see or write to her again.

"But, I think you'll tell him when you're ready." Quill finished his thought as Komali looked back up at him, smiling in relief and gratitude. "Thank you Quill."

He turned back to the south as the postman made his way into the cavernous home of the Rito people. With a soft sigh the avian prince opened his letter as the waning sunlight painted the horizon a soft orange.

Well, there it is, thanks for reading. I know its a bit on the short side but it just felt done, this probably wont be the last i wright on this time line/ universe but it will likely all be oneshots, as i dont do well with multi chaper fictions. I hope this was to every ones liking, please leave a review, and with that, Silver Swordsman signing off.
