HEY PEOPLEzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I was going to update all of my stories (that aren't one-shots), but I decided to make a Christmas story for each of my interests: Harry Potter, TWILIGHT!!!!!!, and Avatar the Last Air bender.
PLEASE ENJOY, AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!
Katara walked into the room, hoping to just talk to Aang about Appa, but was taken aback when she say trying to drag a huge tree into the living room.
"Ummm, guys." She said, confusion obvious on her face. "What... are... you doing?"
""Putting up a Christmas Tree." Aang came over the top of the huge tree, helping a struggling sokka get the tree through the door.
"What's a Christmas tree? And what king of tree is that?!?" said Katara pointing to the tree, that was now successfully in the room, and standing upright.
"Katara, This is a Christmas Tree. It's also known as an Evergreen tree." The branches of the tree were all folded down, so Aang took a deep breath, got on his back under the tree, and blew out. All the branches now stood horizontal.
"Ummmmmm, why do we have a (air quotes) 'Christmas Tree' in our living room?" Sokka had ran up to the attic to get boxes of 'stuff', leaving Aang to explain.
"Because Katara. IT'S CHRISTMAS! You know, roaring fires, carols, stockings, presents, the old guy in the big red suit the slides down the chimney at night? Christmas." Aang said, mimicking actions with his hands.
"Right. Aang, have you and Sokka been hitting the cactus juice again?" Katara asked as Sokka came running past, carrying five big boxes of glass things.
"No," answered Sokka. "Just the Eggnog. That's good stuff Katara. You've gotta try some."
He and Aang had started putting little glass spherical things (lol, Katara's Christmas bulbs) on the tree.
"I think I'll pass." Katara said with false sincerity.
"Katara, I did get you a Christmas gift though." said Aang. He had a tiny black box (no, it's not what you think) with a big green bow. He handed it to Katara, and took a sudden interest in twiddle (I love the word. Don't ask me why, but I do) his thumbs.
"Okay." Katara said slowly, opening the box. Inside the box was a beautiful blue, white, and grey swirls on it. It reminded Katara of her mother's necklace that she had lost to Zuko.
"Awww. Oh Aang," she said, as she hugged Aang. She kissed his cheak and said, "Merry Christmas to you too."
There was a crash to their right, and Katara and Aang's heads snapped over in that direction. Sokka had red and gold garland wrapped around his body, and a gold star on the top of his head. "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!!!!!!!!!!!!"
