My Red Moon

At night I see them,

The one's I love whom fight, feed, and hunt,

I hear them cry out in pain as I sink my teeth into their flesh,

I don't want to but I have to,

I see them die in my arms,

How can I make this thirst end?

I look up at the moon knowing he can see it too,

One difference, my moon is red,

My moon is the blood I seek,

The pain I cause,

Fear that sinks,

What will make this thirst end?

I'm uncontrollable,

I can't stop,

All I can think about is them dying,

And the irresistible smell of flesh as I steel the life out of them.

I don't have friends anymore,

I'm alone,

I feel isolated,

I'm scared.

I don't want to kill,

But I must to survive,

For I am only the beginning.

I am immense,

I fight to survive,

And to live this eternal suffering.

But it's not my suffering it's theirs

So watch out,

Your next to die,

Under my red moon.
