Distant Thunder
By SMYGO4EVA
The wind
caresses the earth through and through
Smelling of incoming rain
and imminent water
Familiar through memory, strange to the senses
Forever merciful to vague humanities
Thunder booms in
the canvas of sky
Heaven's tears fall down in frost
So
clean and impure to all the paintings
The art of the humanity
would scar from the thunder
Bloodied
footprints would wash away soon
It would take a while, but you
will make it through
The burning crack of lightning soars
underneath the garden
Flowers shake in excitement and fear of the
angel's tears
Humanity feels
the wind, in clear and beautiful blankets
Thunder has descended
no more, from the open clouds
The golden sun shines upon a brand
new day
The white moon would rise soon, once night arrives
