Robert sighed rolling over and reaching for Aaron, they had just bought a new apartment and tonight was their first night living together. He groaned, grabbing at the bed trying to find his boyfriend, he couldn't help letting a small smile fall upon his lips at the word boyfriend, they had been through a lot to get to this stage and he couldn't believe how far they had come. His curiosity over won his need for sleep when he couldn't feel Aaron in the bed and he almost felt like crying when he had to leave his warm, cosy duvet. He grabbed the nearest pair of pants he could find and trudged into the living room, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
The sight that greeted him had the biggest smile stretching across his face; in the middle of the living room was the most adorable sight Robert had ever seen. In between piles of boxes was Aaron, fast asleep snoring, mouth slightly parted as his chest rose and fell peacefully. He stopped in the doorway and appreciated the sight in front of him. He couldn't believe how lucky he was that this man loved him and had stayed with him through everything. Hadn't given up on him. Robert knew he could never thank him enough for believing in him when no one else would, couldn't love him enough for everything Aaron had done for him. He honestly didn't know what he would do without this man who was as fucked up as him, if not more and had a severe attitude problem but if he loved you, God if he loved you, you were the luckiest man alive. His beautiful greasemonkey.
"Aaron, wake up you fell asleep in the living room babe." Robert whispered shaking him gently. The adorable man in front of him groaned, rolling over and mumbling something along the lines of "Don't wanna move." Robert tried for a little longer to get Aaron to move before huffing and going back to the bedroom. Aaron sighed glad he could finally sleep and rolled back over. He was just drifting off to sleep again when he felt a pillow being placed beside his head and a duvet being placed over him, he groaned as he was pulled into a warm chest. Wearily opening his eyes he whispered "What are you doing Rob?" Robert looked down sheepishly before mumbling out an "I didn't want to be alone so I'm sleeping with you." Aaron laughed before saying "You're a sappy sod; I hope you know that now go to sleep idiot." Robert tightened his arms around Aaron and both men drifted into sleep, content smiles on both their faces.
