Harvey answered the door when he heard the knock. He was shocked when he saw Mike. It wasn't so much seeing Mike that shocked him it was more the condition Mike seemed to be in. His eye looked red from crying, and he was visibly shaking. Harvey wondered how Mike had even gotten to his house like this.

Mike looked at Harvey. "I-I'm sorry. It's late I shouldn't be bothering you. I'm not sure why I came." He said his voice breaking. He knew it was because he was in love with Harvey and also felt like Harvey was the only one who could help in even the slightest, but he didn't want Harvey to know that.

He turned to leave, but Harvey grabbed his wrist and dragged him inside. He didn't say anything. He let Harvey sit him down on the couch, and just sat there staring at the coffee table when Harvey walked out of the room.

Harvey came back a few minutes later with some hot chocolate for Mike. After a long time of silence he finally spoke. "Do you want to talk about it?"

Mike couldn't believe the words that had just left Harvey's mouth. He parted his lips to say something, but all that came out was a choked sob, and he ended up clinging to Harvey crying onto his shoulder.

Harvey was startled, but wrapped his arms around Mike. He held him close, and simply let Mike cry. A long time passed with them like this until Mike said something. "It's um m-my grandma. Sh-she passed away this afternoon." He said quietly, not lifting his head from Harvey's shoulder.

"Oh Mike . . ." Harvey held the younger boy closer. "I'm so sorry." He told him honestly.

Mike couldn't say anything. He just nodded.

"Mike look at me." He commanded.

Mike slowly looked up. Harvey used his thumbs to wipe away the tears. "It's going to be alright. I know it doesn't seem that way, but it will. I'm here for you." He placed a light kiss on Mike's lips. Mike opened his mouth to say something about that, but Harvey covered his mouth with a finger and shook his head. "You don't have to say anything Mike." He told him, and held him close.
