Sunday Morning of Destiny

by

Flash-of-Lightning

It was Sunday morning when my wife told me to clean the attic. It was also that Sunday Morning when I saw that picture for the first time in years.

I was nine years old when I found that picture. A wallet size picture of a girl. She was beautiful, indeed. In my opinion, she was prettier and more gorgeous than the goddess Aphrodite. She had this amazing golden blond locks and chocolate eyes. Her smile, her smile can make the world stop and stare for a while. Probably, she was around my age.

She is my first love.

The day I found the picture, I fell in love with her immediately. I pledged to find her and marry her. Silly, I know. But it was all true. I did search for her... but no luck. I kept the picture for 15 years. But, when I got married, I placed the picture in a box and stocked it in the attic. Almost forgotten.

I was cooking lunch in the kitchen when I saw my husband, Troy Bolton, climbed down the stairs. Probably, he was finished with his task. "Are you done cleaning the attic, Troy?" I asked when he entered the kitchen.

He was holding something in hand. A photo? "Um... yes Pay." He sat on the chair around the island and stared at the photo intently.

Curious, I asked, "What is that?"

He looked at me for a while and stared at the photo again. "This is my first love..."

I raised my eye brow. First love? I thought he burned every picture of Gabriella. "Really? Who?"

"I... I honestly don`t know." He explained. "It was actually a funny story." He chuckled. "I found this picture when I was nine. I fell in love with this girl... but I never found her."

"You fell in love with a picture?"

"Yes." He simply replied.

I walked behind him and looked at the picture. I gasped when I saw who the girl was. I laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" Troy asked slightly annoyed. "This isn`t funny, Sharpay. What I`m telling you is true." I stopped laughing when I saw how serious he was. Then I started acting like I was thinking. "When did you found that picture again?" I asked as if I don`t know.

"When I was nine years old. But don`t tell me I`m too young to know what love is `cause even then-"

I kissed him to shut him up. When we pulled apart I whispered, " I was nine when I lost that picture..."

He was shocked, I can tell. Before we kissed again I said, "This is destiny. I told you we are meant to be."

A/N: Well, I hope you liked it. It is short I know. I`m sorry about the ending. I know it sucks. Sorry. I`ll promise to do better next time. :D R&R.
