Nate Rivers was a 17 year old working at the local Starbucks. He didn't have an overly interesting life, but he did get to meet some cool people. Including that one guy that Laura was always pestering him about. The really hot guy with shoulder length blonde hair with bangs, Ice blue eyes, that smirk, all leather everything. A motorcyclist, Nate knew from watching him ride off after he finished his drink. He came every morning. He never gave his real name, he asked to be called Mello. But Nate and Laura called him 'Hot Guy' for when he would enter the Starbucks, Nate would run to Laura and go "Hot Guy is here!"
Nate had it bad, but he was almost positive that the guy was straight. Sadly for him of course.
Nate was working behind the counter taking the order of a more heavyset woman, and once she stepped out of the way, Melli stood forward. He smirked at Nate's shocked, and now very pink, face.
"You good, kid?" Mello asked. Laura smiled from the distance and ran up to Nate, whispering in his ear "did I forget to say that Hot Guy walked in a few minutes ago?" And giggled, then left.
He he looked down, then up, nodding. "H-How may I help you?" Nate asked.
Mello chuckled. "Well, Id like a drink"
Nate flushed. "S-Sorry! I-Um, what may I get you?" He asked.
"Large black coffee. No cream or sugar or anything. Just a black coffee" Mello said.
"So you want it straight?" Nate asked. Then turned red. "The coffee I mean! You want the COFFEE straight! Not anything else obviously"
Mello laughed. "Yes, I like the coffee straight. But that's about the only thing" he winked. Nate blushed red then smiled.
"coming right up, sir.." he giggled. He went back to make the coffee and then wrote on the cup. He then went to the front and set it down. "Mello, your coffee!" He smiled. Melli came over and grabbed it, smiling and then walking towards the door. Nate turned away and began to walk back towards the counter before he heard his name being called. Melli stood by the counter with his fingers up.
Nate walked back.
"Is there something wrong with your drink?" He asked. Mello laughed and handed Nate a piece of paper with a phone number on it. Nate blushed.
"Nothing wrong. I like the name you wrote on it though" Mello smirked and showed Nate the cup. Nate squeaked and covered his red face.
He had written 'Hot Guy' on it.
